The production process is not standardized:

Secondary vulcanization of silicone products:
Secondary vulcanization is also called post-vulcanization. The role of secondary vulcanization: When silicone rubber is peroxide-cured, the decomposition of peroxides initiates the polymer reaction, resulting in the formation of low-molecular compounds (such as benzene and benzoic acid) present in the rubber that will affect the mechanical properties of the rubber. Moreover, after the silicone rubber is heated and molded in the first stage, its cross-linking density is not enough, and it is necessary to make the further vulcanization reaction to increase the density of the silicone rubber. Tensile strength, resilience, hardness, swelling degree, density and thermal stability are all better than those of primary vulcanization. If you do not perform secondary vulcanization, the performance of the silica gel may be affected to a certain extent, and a product with better performance may not be obtained. The parameters of primary vulcanization and secondary vulcanization may be different. This is related to the actual operation! There are many types of silicone vulcanization, high temperature and room temperature. According to the high-temperature silicone, for example, before the vulcanization, it is what we usually call raw rubber. The compound rubber is made by mixing many additives such as vulcanizing agent, mold release agent and raw rubber. It can be seen from the appearance. When you break it with your hand, there is no flexibility. If at a certain temperature, the kneaded rubber is vulcanized and molded at a certain temperature, products can be obtained, just like the silicone mobile phone cases we commonly find, and as long as the drug is not poisoned, the manufacturer can provide food certification.
